Jahan Loh (born in Singapore in 1976) is a graduate of the University of New South Wales in Australia with a Master's degree in Art Design. He is known as the most successful street artist in Asia and a crucial artist in promoting Asian Pop Art internationally. Loh has received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Singapore Press Holdings Scholarship in 1996, the EMND Special Excellence Award in 1997, the Thames & Hudson Art Award in 1998, the Nokia Art Award for the Singapore region in 1998, and the Special Award at the Taipei International Animation Film Festival in 2005. Loh's works have been exhibited in important art museums and institutions globally, including the National Museum of Singapore, the Brooklyn Museum in the US, the Singapore Art Museum, the Manarat Al Saadiyat Contemporary Art Museum in the US, and the ArtScience Museum in Singapore. His works are also collected by important organizations and collectors, including the Goethe-Institut Taipei, the German Cultural Center, the Art and Design Museum in Singapore, the Google Cultural Institute, and the Manarat Al Saadiyat Contemporary Art Collection.
